Healthy Eating Strategies for Well-Being

Ways to stay healthy and feel good:

  • Eating at routine hours, such as morning, afternoon, and evening, helps to regulate the body’s internal clock. It promotes better digestion. This practice can lead to improved overall health and well-being.
  • Always consume food and beverages in a sequential manner, based on the designated schedule
  • Prioritizing a balanced diet by consuming food in moderation, ensuring that portions are controlled while still enjoying a variety of flavors and nutrients.
  • Following the tradition of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), it is recommended to eat with the right hand, as this practice is believed to bring blessings, promote hygiene, and reflect etiquette in Islamic culture. This custom encourages mindfulness and gratitude for the food, aligning with the teachings of kindness and sharing in meals.
  • Doing push-ups whenever I had the time to strengthen my muscles and maintain my fitness, often fitting them in during short breaks throughout the day or while watching TV.
  • Going to the garden to do some physical activity, such as walking.
  • Maintain a healthy food pyramid, composed of balanced food groups, to ensure the best nutrition possible for your overall well-being and energy levels throughout the day.
