The definition of play is to take a break from daily work or activities that you choose to focus on aside from play. Play can encompass anything you do for collaboration or enjoyment, and these activities typically take place indoors or outdoors. Indoor activities might include playing electronic games, card games, and more, while outdoor activities could consist of soccer, badminton, cricket, and others.
According to copilot search, “daily” means every day, which likely includes various activities that you engage in until they become habits in your life. Daily activities can either be a waste of time or provide value, depending on how you leverage them. In Surah Al-Asr, it states that all of humanity is at a loss except for those who perform good deeds, exercise patience, and teach one another patience. This Surah holds great significance for me as it reminds me of the moments in my life that I should utilize wisely.
Life can be defined as that which enables you to live, respond to stimuli, eat, drink, move, and more. There are two types of life: human and animal. Both humans and animals share qualities of life, such as organs, hands, legs, and other bodily parts. Life is regarded as sacred in Islam as it helps humans distinguish between animals and themselves. Islam instructs humans to live according to moral standards, which involve worshiping one true God and adhering to the teachings of the Quran.
For me, playtime refers to activities that bring pleasure, involving movements of the hands or feet, entertainment, and sounds. I enjoy outdoor activities that provide various kinds of movements, entertainment, sounds, and happiness. These activities can include hitting friends while running, playing hide and seek, chasing, baseball, and football. Engaging in these activities involves collaborating with friends, and I am very involved with them.
This fosters a sense of playfulness, teamwork, and engaging conversations with them. Although sometimes my speech may not be fluent, I regret the times I lacked knowledge. Typically, these activities occur outdoors after the sun sets or is low in the sky. This creates perfect weather conditions for playing outside with old friends. I would visit their homes just to play with them for a short while.
I also participated in some indoor activities before I grew up. These activities included playing electronic games, riding bicycles, and playing with toys. Although most of these items are no longer present, I cannot see them anymore. Electronic games and PlayStation during that time have become almost synonymous.
In my community, most people expect to have some of these items at home or at their grandparents’ houses, where perhaps someone else purchased them. Engaging in this pastime is also common during holiday seasons, when typically every child will partake in these activities on their television. Thus, during holidays, especially at the year’s end, the PlayStation comes out and is played.
Nowadays, many people, myself included, spend time watching streaming games on YouTube or playing games on the Steam platform, where we can often find others. These activities occur around us, particularly in spaces with computers and laptops. Inviting friends to play together has become a common practice, which at times can result in wasted time and a lapse in attention toward other activities.
In conclusion, this reflects my historical playtime before I transitioned into my teenage and adult years, during which I no longer participate in these types of activities. Now, these activities can occur at any time, even at night, when friends invite me. Currently, I do not engage in outdoor activities much at this stage of life. My focus is mainly on necessary tasks like work that yield benefits, such as money and income, whenever the opportunity arises.
