- Something refers to a few things that can be understood similarly to the word “few,” which denotes no more than three types of numbers. Things can be recognized as objects, materials, desires, or works. They can also be other items that a person checks daily to ensure completion. This may involve buying groceries weekly. Doing so helps a person review what items need to be purchased. It prevents them from forgetting those items when they are at home. Something can be viewed as a selection of a few items that a person utilizes when choosing from their other belongings on the list, determining which one to prioritize in this context.
- The definition aims to indicate a specific target or placement of an object that typically accompanies the word “choose.” The individual, as a human, combines with other objects, creating a plural form, in which “on” is employed to form that combination of words. This is observable in most words that accompany a person or references that typically include the word “on,” resulting in a combination of words directed toward other objects used by that person.
- “Your” pertains to the writer who produces the text that generally responds to the inquiries in daily writing prompts. It is also utilized as “I” and “me,” reflecting the writer’s opinions, thoughts, and expressions when they start typing to articulate those ideas and share them with others. The published post also includes the author’s name, which is represented as “your,” “me,” or “I” at a specific publication time.
- A to-do list signifies the direction toward the location or actions of an individual, showcasing their needs that they either physically or mentally prepare to fulfill. “Do” in this context characterizes the outcomes of a person’s actions, whether good or bad, leading to either their satisfaction or that of others, affecting their life positively or negatively. The term “to do” represents an individual’s actions that can have beneficial or detrimental effects on society or themselves, such as family. The list encompasses specific actions that an individual has concerning their to-do list, detailing everything they intend to accomplish in life.
- “That” refers to other objects previously mentioned in the paragraph or words preceding the term in use. This can be observed in most sentences where individuals use an object, subsequently referring back to a previously mentioned item. In dialogue, this term is commonly used to obscure the names or characteristics of those objects, rendering them unidentifiable to others.
- “Never” denotes specific tasks a person needs to complete but has not yet accomplished. The word “ever” implies that these actions are perpetually present on the list, yet they have never been finished or carried out, potentially due to various obstacles or work challenges they may have encountered. When “never” is utilized, it signifies that the individual has not engaged with the particular action they intended to undertake. The term “never” illustrates the time-consuming aspect of the actions that a person must fulfill.
- “Gets” refers to acquiring specific types of items from the prior actions of the individual or other categories that must be selected from among a list or collection. “Gets” indicates an amount that is not singular but is chosen for the value associated with the items the individual takes. In programming, “gets” is used to obtain specific values to enable those items to serve other purposes.
- “Done” in this instance signifies tasks that require a person’s action and that have been successfully completed. “Done” relates to an individual’s previous actions that must be executed to achieve completion. Its counterpart, “not done,” is applicable only for a specified duration.
- One item on my to-do list that remains unfinished is studying the mathematics course on GameDev.tv. This pursuit has taken an extended period during which I have tried to dedicate time to complete it. Recently, the course has been reset, requiring me to restart from the beginning. This delay can be attributed to other factors, such as my forgetfulness regarding past lessons and a lack of time necessary to complete these courses. For me, GameDev.tv is recognized for offering educational benefits and free courses to users who engage in their game jams. This is why I selected the mathematics course to enhance my knowledge in this area.
- Over the past couple of years, I have aimed to complete and finish the Data-Oriented Technology Stack (DOTS) training specifically located in the GitHub repository where I used to work. This training has elevated my understanding of using the Unity game engine and enhancing application runtime and performance by leveraging all available resources within a user’s chipset, otherwise known as the CPU or other hardware types. This aspect is particularly significant to me, as I have yet to finish this task, and it has lingered on my to-do list for quite some time. My commitment to other tasks and pursuit of various improvements has resulted in this being left incomplete.
- In conclusion, the list of tasks to accomplish directly relates to my job, where I am involved in creating and developing a specific type of game that necessitates performance management. I have also encountered challenges in recent years with other tasks that arise unexpectedly on a daily basis, making it difficult for me to complete them promptly. As a result, I have been compelled to prioritize new tasks over the previous ones. I recognize the importance of managing time and progressing, especially in this unpredictable life that necessitates a degree of patience. I welcome your feedback in the comments regarding what you think may be on my to-do list that remains undone.
