The movie I wish I could experience again for the first time is “The Hobbit.” This film series captivates me with its splendid adventures and enjoyable blend of fiction. The first installment was released around 2012, and I’ve watched some of it online, where it’s freely accessible. Initially, I didn’t know much about the movie; I only realized it was connected to the “Lord of the Rings” series. The focus here is primarily on the hobbits and the dwarves. The first movie I encountered is titled “The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey,” aptly named for its portrayal of a hobbit embarking on an unforeseen adventure that takes him away from his homeland to help others.

Bilbo lives in the Shire, where he possibly spends his time alone as a single hobbit. When Gandalf visits his home, the purpose is to persuade Bilbo to join him on a series of adventures portrayed in various films. Ultimately, Bilbo agrees to the request, signing a contract to assist them on their journey and help the dwarves reclaim their homeland.During his journey, Bilbo encountered various creatures from Middle-earth, including trolls, orcs, and Smaug. The trolls are particularly infamous for targeting dwarves and their companions, making the situation quite perilous. This scene is well-known for the moment they lose their horses and are forced to continue on foot.

During their encounter with the orc, they had to flee in various ways—running, walking, and hiding from the hunting orc that pursued them, aided by a wolf that could easily scent their presence. They faced numerous challenges, and at one point, Torin, their unrecognized king, nearly fell into the hands of their captors until he was saved by a wizard friend of Gandalf during their escape. Additionally, Bilbo became separated from the group, leading him to Smaug’s feeding grounds, where he discovered a magical ring that granted him invisibility, allowing him to hide from the shadows, invisible to ordinary humans. This ring is actually from the film series The Lord of the Rings, which depicts how it was found and used later on.

In conclusion, this movie has sparked my interest, especially in understanding the adaptation from the book and the fiction genre that encompasses adventure and action, presenting a series of challenges and trials that the characters face throughout the film. As a result, I’ve come to the realization that I would like to watch this movie again for the first time to gain insights without any prior knowledge. I would love to hear your thoughts in the comments section.
