If I could instantly master any skill, it would be game development. I have been involved in game development for several years, during which I’ve witnessed various changes that have shaped the landscape of the gaming industry. In recent years, the industry has remained relatively consistent, with few substantial changes aside from advancements in how creators use tools and software that have evolved over time. Additionally, the rising costs associated with keeping software updated to align with the current gaming era are noteworthy. Monetization strategies have also become increasingly common, even though I personally am not deeply engaged in this aspect and am only exploring its application in my current project. To me, game development encompasses many fields, requiring a blend of skills from diverse individuals collaborating to achieve successful project completion.

The competitiveness of the game industry has attracted many aspiring individuals eager to break into this field. One skill I am particularly keen to master is programming, which I have been learning and practicing for several years. While this skill is essential for game development, other abilities are equally important for creating unique game designs. Through my journey, I have achieved a certain level of proficiency in programming, specifically in C#, which has allowed me to work with clients on freelance projects. This accomplishment highlights my understanding of coding with various software tools available for free, commonly utilized in numerous applications on Windows and beyond. Additionally, I have included testimonials from clients regarding the game development services I offer on my web page for those interested in reading the feedback.

Not only that, I also have several portfolios that anyone can check out on my website, where I have listed the work I completed several years ago. Most of the skills I employed focus on programming, where I have utilized C#, Blueprint, or prototyping games using commonly available tools. Over time, I have kept myself updated with new developments related to these skills by reading various books, materials, and other resources that help me transition from outdated methods, which could lead to headaches. In the future, I am committed to channeling all of this into projects by creating awesome and fantastic games, Insha’Allah. To this date, I have been working hard to enhance my contributions to the current state of the gaming industry; for this reason, I have willingly sacrificed some of my time by remaining self-employed and writing content for my website. In conclusion, mastering programming skills is one of my core goals, even though I started this journey many years ago.

Hopefully, this will provide me with more opportunities to master the subject by taking online courses instead of attending university. I’ve been wondering today whether I made a mistake by choosing this path, or if it’s just a stroke of luck that I managed to study at the institution.
