If I were to describe my ideal life, it would involve living in perfect harmony, free from daily disturbances, and feeling comfortable. I thrive when engaging in trade with individuals who offer a variety of products. While I cherish a life with minimal interruptions, I believe it’s essential to focus on specific tasks, like work, without being sidetracked by other matters at random times. Clients may unexpectedly reach out, or someone might visit the house for services and other purposes. Nonetheless, I have managed to navigate these situations with patience in all aspects of life, adhering to the commands of Allah and following the example of the Prophet (SAW) in my daily routine. I acknowledge that I make mistakes in my interactions with others, which affect the outcomes of those exchanges. Therefore, I strive to correct myself and improve with each experience.

At that stage of my life, I probably had my own place or was living on my own while still practicing Islam, maintaining regular communication with my parents and siblings. I often wish I had more knowledge and insight at that time, as it could have helped me avoid certain mistakes—especially in my personal life. I was able to buy essential items like vegetables, rice, flour, and fruits without relying too much on my parents, primarily using my own funds. Nonetheless, this required a great deal of patience and learning from my mistakes, particularly since finding a job has been tough for me recently. This year has been especially challenging, as I haven’t received any orders on Fiverr yet, although I continue to keep my portfolio updated and write daily texts for others to review.

Once I am able to purchase these essential items, I aspire to make plans for marriage or to find a wonderful wife as the first step in starting a new family, rather than remaining single. Though I am uncertain when the right moment will come for me, my research and understanding have shown that not everyone can attain this level of happiness, and I acknowledge that reality. Recently, I attended my best cousin’s wedding, where they took nikah and hosted a majlis that brought together many relatives, facilitating reconnections. However, I felt a sense of disconnection, as I hadn’t kept in touch over a long period, and many people there likely didn’t remember me or had forgotten who I was. I wished that everyone could recall me, as I do them; perhaps I was wrong in that belief. Since then, I’ve been reflecting on the kind of ideal life I want, where I maintain contact with all my cousins and family members, avoiding severing ties and learning from past mistakes.

This situation is truly frustrating for me, and I regret experiencing these challenges, even though I’ve tried to remain patient in all circumstances, as I believe everything happens according to Allah’s will and judgment. To me, maintaining this type of relationship is essential for living a harmonious and peaceful life, free from excessive worries about breaks or holidays from work. Unfortunately, this has not been my experience, as I continually wake up each day to work, leaving me with no other options. I would love to hear your thoughts in the comments.
