Something that I used to worry about but no longer do is paying off debt, especially related to events that happened a few years ago around the time of COVID. Before COVID, there were many challenges, and although I knew my debts needed to be paid, trying to figure out the process of how to pay them made me very anxious. I had to face this myself, because otherwise I could have gone into default on the loan, which would have made my credit worse, especially if I wanted to borrow money in the future. After that period, I realized how important it was to pay off the remaining balances, even when they were no longer scheduled payments.

For many months, I was unable to secure employment in certain fields despite repeatedly applying for relevant positions. This experience left me discouraged, and I even considered changing my education and work history to improve my prospects, which ultimately could have made my situation worse. A few years later, I entered the workforce, but I was not fully familiar with the work environment and felt it differed significantly from my previous roles, particularly my internship. I had previously worked in team settings, especially during game jams, where I contributed my skills in 3D art—work I considered excellent—yet I received little to no feedback from the rest of the team.

When I first applied for a job, I encountered many difficulties, largely because I did not read the job details carefully, especially those posted on websites. On several occasions, my personal information was used without my knowledge by third parties I did not even know, likely because some job sites—and even some companies—did not provide a clear privacy policy, particularly when the position was listed through an external job host. I have since learned much more about this issue when applying for jobs online, especially with the help of AI (Artificial Intelligence), which has taught me how to apply for jobs safely on the internet.

I previously held a position that did not involve an online system, although it was not directly related to my current career path. I believe competition has increased, as securing employment today has become much more difficult than in the past. Because of this, I no longer feel as anxious about finding a job or meeting financial obligations such as debt repayment, since many aspects of this are now beyond my control. In the meantime, I have been focusing on other responsibilities, particularly supporting my parents, as I believe caring for them while they are still alive is a meaningful act that brings significant benefit to both them and myself.

In conclusion, those years genuinely worried me, particularly due to my debts and difficulty finding a job, which prevented me from entering the workforce despite my efforts to make concrete plans. Over time, however, I have been able to turn this experience into an opportunity for self-improvement by using my time more effectively and working toward goals that can benefit others.
