Introduction of My Significant Other

How did I meet my significant other? For me, this question is harder because I was not born as an English speaker. From my research by looking at other responses, I found that it was about a lover. This is related to a girlfriend, boyfriend, wife, or husband. Due to my religion, I was eventually forbidden from taking any kind of girlfriend. But because of the past, I did, but with some restrictions related to that. I did that out of ignorance, and I am a normal person trying to make a living. Well, talking about how I met my first lover? I actually never met one. This happened during my teenage years when I was going from one high school to another high school. This was because I was trying to get into a good school instead of a bad one.

Unfortunately, during the move I had a friend who introduced me to a girl at the time. We were actually in contact using our phone numbers and SMS (Short Message Service). At that time, it was common for people to get cellphones and message people of the opposite gender. Phone numbers were hard to get, and I actually did not know much about it. For me, this event started a relationship with the girl that lasted for some years, until I focused too much on gaming and computers. This made my relationship with the person decline over time. I was more interested in playing video games with other friends instead of focusing on the relationship itself.

Breaking a relationship

After I grew up more into a much better person and gained more knowledge, I eventually ended that relationship, which was also influenced by the fact that I enrolled in a new school. The school is much more religious than the national school, which most people consider basic. My enrollment in the school itself was also related to a family matter that became another factor for me to go there. Although I did meet other kinds of girls in the school, I never actually exchanged any messages with them. This was related to not wanting to create a relationship that could grow into a girlfriend and other things. For me, that school actually forbade students to do that. This has taught me so much, even to this day, about avoiding forbidden relationships and instead going for marriage.

Meet my New Significant other

When I finished high school, before continuing with my education, I actually went into the national service of my country, which I believed at the time was compulsory for citizens. My experience there was really awful, since in my opinion I was not really fit for it. I met a significant other during the few months I spent in the program. That experience was wonderful, because I could meet the girl face to face and talk about our relationship. Unfortunately, because of our religious differences, we actually could not commit to a relationship. But because of my ignorance about that and my lack of understanding, I actually fell for another girl from a different religion, and I still cannot forget about her.

Until I continued my education at an institution where I was learning about game development, I struggled a lot with a past relationship with a woman. It actually cost me a lot of money, and I lost a lot during the process. I also made many mistakes. Even though the girl herself never fell in love with me, I kept trying to continue the relationship. This left me in limbo for many years, starting from when I became an adult at eighteen years old. After many years of working as a freelancer, I finally managed to forget about it and move on with my life. Even today, I am still not very interested in relationships because they are really hard for me, especially since my work is difficult to keep stable.
