The hobby that I have picked up recently is playing video games, especially on a Windows PC. This activity feels very familiar to me, since I also used to do this in the past. I used to play other types of video games, such as on PlayStation and Xbox. However, once I started using computers more, I gradually shifted those activities toward computer games. In the last couple of years, Steam has become well known for providing this kind of entertainment. They run a service that lets gamers play directly from their store, and they sell many of the titles there. Valve, the company that created Half-Life and Dota 2, stands out as one of the best places for gamers to pursue this activity, and you can see millions of players every day based on statistics.

What Got Me Into This Activity

In the last few months, I have only had a few times that I could spend on doing the activity. Orders have declined and other factors have affected me, so I had to shift my focus. I worked on my taxes, which every citizen must file. Even though my mother told me not to do that because many people now use AI (Artificial Intelligence) such as ChatGPT, I decided to trust it more. I also believe it will help me in the future if I face financial hardship and need funds, so filing my taxes will help me qualify for funding, perhaps. Not only that, I also choose to stay compliant, especially with matters related to my business on Fiverr.

More Factors That Got Me Into This

With the new platform known as Steam, I’ve become obsessed with games because of their achievement system. Steam and other platforms such as esports usually have this, where players will get certain awards for their actions. This has me trying to get certain achievements in the games that I love. Also, gaming is famous, especially among males, where we match against each other. The online system also helps people play with friends, especially if one owns the system at home. Doing this activity actually increases relationships among folks and friends, especially after many years of being close friends.

Conclusion On Hobby

In conclusion, this hobby is one of the best I’ve ever had, especially during my free time. Without this hobby, I would probably get bored or end up going outside just to find something to do. But I have so much fun putting my time into this kind of activity, and when I’m not doing it, I might go to my parents and help them out. I only do that when they actually need me to. After all, I really love helping other people, but I’m scared of whether I can manage it well. This is where I’ll eventually prove to myself that I truly have the ability to do so.
